Powering South Asian Stories
South Stack Studios is a nonprofit film fund awarding $10K–$100K grants to emerging South Asian filmmakers, writers, and artists — plus mentorship and a global stage for their work.
We exist to open doors for South Asian storytellers.
South Stack Studios is the operating name of Haldi Hub, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 33-4076397) on a mission to champion authentic South Asian stories in film and media — and to build real pathways for the people who tell them.
We serve emerging filmmakers, writers, and artists across the global South Asian diaspora, providing the funding, mentorship, and access they need to bring nuanced, original narratives to audiences everywhere. As a nonprofit, every gift and grant goes toward that public benefit: a richer, more representative culture for all.
Turning support into a seat at the table.
In our first year, the storytellers and projects we've backed have reached the world's most important stages — from Sundance and Cannes to Tribeca and Oscar qualification.
